(1) The competing Clubs shall appoint their own scorers. Clubs reported as having no scorer shall be dealt with at the discretion of the League Management
Committee, subject to a maximum fine of £25.00.
(2) The Home Club shall make available a suitable system for acknowledging signals from the Umpires and shall ensure that in all matches there shall be exhibited the following information, as a minimum:
(a) Progressive score of each innings, if not run by run, then at least every ten runs, and always at the fall of a wicket.
(b) Reducing total of overs bowled in the first innings.
(c) Reducing number of overs bowled in the second innings, commencing with the number of overs notified by the Match Umpires (according to the
wishes of either Captain as conveyed to the Umpires during the tea interval – Rule 11, Para. (10) ).
(d) When less than 20 runs are required by the side batting second, the score shall be adjusted run by run.
(e) Reducing number of overs as required under Rule 11 Para. 16(d), as instructed by the Umpires.
(f) Every club MUST have amended their scoreboards to show spectators, players and umpires the required target in the second innings. This shall
be amended every time it alters.
